LEGENDS FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT
On May 28 and 29, football legends from Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Curaçao, the Netherlands, and Portugal (for the first time this year!) will gather for a unique football tournament in Curaçao.
This is your chance to experience the magic of legendary players such as Rivaldo Ferreira (BRA), Carlos Valderrama (COL), Sergio Goycochea (ARG), Pierre van Hooijdonk (NED), Joao Pinto (POR), and the Curaçao Legends like “Eki” Oleana. The legends will compete against each other as national teams. All teams will be in action multiple times during the tournament.
The fun doesn’t stop on the pitch! The evenings will be filled with entertainment, excellent food and drinks. The preliminary rounds will take place on Wednesday, May 28, and the finals will be held on Thursday, May 29.
Each match lasts 2 x 20 minutes with a short break of 5 minutes. The event will take place at Capital Ç, located on the road to the airport and across from the famous Hato Caves. A real stadium is being built here.
This event is organized by Curaçao Airport Holding (CAH) in partnership with the Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB), with the aim of promoting sports and play in an inclusive way.
